Social Responsibility

In my opinion, photography is an important information sharing tool that has the ability to reveal the moment with all its reality, and information should be shared. I use the photographs I take to reflect on the problems of the world and the stories of people.

I use it as a tool to touch.

When taking a photo, it is important for me to not only shoot what I see, but also to know what to shoot. Since I have always felt responsible towards society, I have taken photos with an activist spirit for years and I continue to do so.

Social Responsibility Project

Child labor is one of the most important and rapidly growing issues of our day. I use photography to keep this issue as relevant as possible.

Being born into a poor environment and family should not mean that their future will go in the same direction.

Children who are introduced to photography have a great time, forget about the troubles of their lives for a while and smile...

Maybe to provide them with a profession and give them hope for their future... My social responsibility projects with children always follow this line.

First, I go and meet them, spend some time with them. They get to know me, I get to know them; we become brothers and friends. Our sharing starts before the photo. Because it's not just a matter of pressing the shutter. Photography is the tool on the way to my goal.

I first met paper collector children and worked with them for two years. I introduced more than three hundred of our children to photography, and five of them turned photography into a profession.

Afterwards, I met children working as meters in the shoe industry.

Counters perform the sewing process of the upper surface and leather of the shoe. Young children are preferred in this sector because they are cheap labor and have small fingers.

Children are forced to work like slaves to tie shoelaces, to carry errands, and to glue. Moreover, the chemicals used in these processes, such as bali and the like, cause health problems. I also gave them photography training on their days off to help them acquire a profession or at least to add color and memories to their lives.

In our country, which has had a lot of immigration due to wars, I have seen that refugee children are the majority in both the paper collecting and shoe industry.

I am currently working on child labor in various sectors.

In today's modern society, we have become people who say 'only me'. We have become people who bury their heads in the sand, who don't notice what's going on around them, and who don't care if they do, and who just pass by. I am disturbed by the alienation of people from each other.

My purpose in creating this site is to show society what I see from my own perspective and to reach as many people as I can.
